Flop Analysis
Raising here is a viable aggressive deviation, but calling is the higher frequency play. We have top pair with a decent kicker, and by raising, we often force Villain to fold the very hands we dominate while isolating ourselves against their best Ax and sets.
Note: Raising is slightly over-aggressive; calling is preferred to keep Villain's bluffs and weaker pairs (like 9x or pocket pairs) in the pot.
