Calling is the preferred play here. We have two overcards and a backdoor spade draw, giving us enough equity to continue against a small lead, whereas raising forces out the bluffs we beat.
Note: Raising is too aggressive here; calling allows us to realize our equity and keep Villain's bluffs in, while a raise often only gets called by better hands.
