Continuing to check is correct. The turn gives us a flush draw, but we are still behind most of the CO's range and checking allows us to realize our equity without bloating the pot OOP.
Calling the turn bet is mandatory once we pick up the flush draw. We have enough equity with our pair and the second-nut draw to continue against this sizing. **Math:** We are getting 2.6:1 on a call, requiring roughly 28% equity. Between our five and the flush draw, we have plenty of equity to continue. **Ranges:** CO's bet here is often polarized between strong Jx/sets and straight draws like 67s or 97s. Our K-high flush draw is a very strong continue. --- > **Takeaway:** When you pick up significant equity on the turn, calling is usually better than raising to keep villain's bluffs in.
Checking the river after the flush completes is a great way to induce bluffs from missed straight draws or thin value bets from worse flushes and sets.
The check-shove is a high-EV play. Once the CO bets nearly pot, we have a clear value raise with the second-nut flush. **Ranges:** CO's large sizing represents a polarized range of flushes, straights, or total air. Since we hold the Kh, we block the nut flush (AhXh) combinations that CO could have, making it much more likely they are betting a worse hand. **Sizing:** The all-in raise maximizes value.
