While the price is tempting, our hand has zero direct draw potential and very low equity against a range that includes sets, straights, and flush draws. **Ranges:** BTN has a massive advantage on this texture with hands like 88, 66, and 55, along with 97s and 74s. Our range is mostly high cards that missed, making it difficult to realize equity. **Board:** This is a very dynamic and wet texture. Even if we hit a King or Jack, we often face difficult decisions on spade or straight-completing runouts. **Math:** We need roughly 20% equity to call, and while we have ~26% against the total range, our lack of draws means we will struggle to reach showdown or improve to the best hand often enough. --- > **Takeaway:** Don't float with pure overcards on low, connected boards where you lack backdoor draws or a range advantage.
