Checking is the preferred strategy here to protect our checking range, though betting small is a viable alternative. Our specific hand has high equity but functions well as a check-back to induce bluffs or realize equity on many turns.
Note: Sizing up to half-pot is slightly too large; a smaller 33% pot bet or a check is preferred to keep Villain's wide range of underpairs and marginal hands wide.
