We have almost no equity, no draws, and the 2d is a total brick that doesn't change the range dynamics enough to justify a large stab. **Ranges:** BTN's range is condensed around pairs and gutshots (88, JTs, QJs) that aren't folding to a single bet on a dry runout. We lack the nut advantage required to force folds from their marginal made hands. **Board:** The texture remains static and favors the caller. Without a diamond or a straight draw in our hand, we are essentially clicking buttons with zero backup equity. **Math:** We are risking 20.5BB to win a 21.5BB pot, requiring nearly 50% folds to break even. Against a range containing many Kx and Tx, we simply won't get there. --- > **Takeaway:** Don't turn pure air into a bluff on brick turns when you have zero draw equity to fall back on.

This makes us a prime candidate for a polarized bluff. **Ranges:** After calling the turn, Villain's range is capped at mostly one-pair hands and missed draws.
