Folding is the correct play. While we have a pair, it is extremely difficult to realize our equity out of position on this texture against an early position range. **Ranges:** UTG has a significant range advantage with all the best Ace-x (AK, AQ) and sets (AA, 77, 44). Our range is condensed and capped, making it hard to withstand multiple barrels. **Board:** The Ace-high texture is excellent for the preflop raiser. The presence of a flush draw also means UTG will be betting frequently with both value and high-equity semi-bluffs like KsQs. **Blockers:** We don't hold a spade, which would actually be a negative here as we want Villain to have bluffs.
