After being called on the flop, the Ace is a terrible card for us. We must check and hope to get to showdown cheaply, though our hand is now effectively a weak bluff-catcher.
Folding is the only disciplined play. Even though the pot odds are excellent (4.3:1), the Ace turn hits the UTG range perfectly, and our second pair has plummeted in relative value. **Ranges:** Villain's range is now heavily weighted toward Ax (AK, AQ) and sets that called the flop. We are drawing nearly dead against their value range and even their bluffs have significant equity. **Math:** We only need ~19% equity to call, but our KT-like hands and middle pairs only have about 22% equity against a range that includes many better pairs and sets.
