Checking is the preferred play here. While we have a gutshot, betting 70% pot with the bottom of our range is overly aggressive and bloats the pot while we are out of position. **Ranges:** We have a slight range advantage due to our nutted hands (AA, KK, AK), but BB's range is condensed with many 6x and Kx hands that won't fold to a single bet. Our 52s is essentially air that needs to see a cheap turn to realize its 28% equity. **Sizing:** If we do bet, solver heavily prefers a small 20-33% pot sizing (1.3BB - 2.1BB) to keep the range wide. The 4.5BB sizing used is far too large for this dry board, as it forces Villain to play perfectly by folding their weakest air and continuing with everything that beats us. **Plan:** By checking, we can evaluate the turn. If it brings a 4, we improve to a straight; on most other bricks, we can check-call small bets or check-fold if Villain shows significant strength. --- > **Takeaway:** When you have a weak draw OOP on a dry board, check to realize equity rather than using large, inefficient bluffs.
