Calling BTN’s small c-bet with two pair plus backdoor flush is mandatory — we’re far ahead of the c-betting range and getting an excellent price. **Ranges:** BTN c-bets this board often with all Kx, overpairs, Tx, and many bluffs (A-high, QJ, suited connectors), so our KT-type strength (two pair) is comfortably ahead of a big part of that range. **Math:** Getting 5:1 we need only ~17% equity; with two pair and some backdoor equity, we’re massively over that threshold, so folding would be a huge over-fold. --- > **Takeaway:** Versus small c-bets, strong made hands like two pair should basically never fold — the price is too good and we dominate a lot of the betting range.

Folding our full house to BTN’s river shove is a very serious mistake — this hand is far too strong to fold given the price and range construction. **Ranges:** BTN has strong Kx and some quads, but many of those bet big earlier and not all combinations 3-bet pre; at the same time, they can overplay worse full houses and still have natural bluffs from missed draws and turned floats, so their shove range is not exclusively better boats. **Math:** We’re getting ~2.3:1 (need ~31% equity); with kings full of tens near the top of our range, we should easily clear this threshold versus any reasonably balanced or even slightly value-heavy river betting range — folding lets BTN exploit us by over-bluffing. **SPR:** With SPR < 1 on the river after calling the turn, our earlier decision effectively committed us to calling many river bets with this strength; folding now wastes the equity we “pre-paid” on the turn. --- > **Takeaway:** At NL200, once we call a big turn barrel with a full house and face a single river shove, we cannot let fear of monsters push us into folding such a top-tier hand.
