Flop Analysis
Betting small is the preferred play with our entire range here. JJ functions as a thin value hand that needs protection against the many overcards in the Button's calling range. **Ranges:** We hold the nut advantage with AA/KK/AK, allowing us to bet frequently. The Button's range is condensed around medium pairs and suited connectors, many of which (like QT or AJ) have significant equity against our Jacks. **Board:** The two spades make this a semi-wet texture where we want to charge draws immediately. While the King is better for our 3-betting range, we must bet small to keep Villain's weaker pairs (9x, 88-77) and high-card floats in the pot. **Plan:** On most turns that aren't an Ace or a Spade, we can look to check-call to realize our equity. If a Jack peels, we transition into a pure value-heavy strategy to play for stacks. --- > **Takeaway:** On King-high boards as the 3-bettor, use a small sizing to protect your medium pairs while maintaining pressure with your range advantage.
