Flop Analysis
We check to the 3-bettor. On an Ace-high board, the preflop aggressor has a massive range advantage.
We call the 3-bet to hit a set, but once we miss on a high-card board, we must fold to any aggression.

Folding is the only play here. Our hand has plummeted in value and we have no draws to continue with. **Board:** This texture is excellent for the HJ's range (AK, AQ, AJ, KK) and terrible for ours. As an underpair to the entire board, we are essentially drawing to two outs. **Ranges:** HJ will c-bet this board at a high frequency with their entire range. Even against their bluffs (like KQ or T9s), we are barely ahead and have zero equity realization on future streets. --- > **Takeaway:** Don't fall in love with small pairs; if you don't flop a set on an overcard board, fold quickly to any bet.
