Flop Analysis
Checking back is standard here. While we have the range advantage, this board is quite static and our specific hand has enough showdown value to check once.
Checking the flop with Ace-high on a paired board protects our range, allowing us to stab profitably when the turn checks through.

After BB checks twice, a small delayed c-bet is highly effective. We now have a gutshot to the nuts and can fold out BB's air that has equity against us. **Ranges:** BB's range is capped after checking twice on a board that hits our broadway-heavy UTG range. We hold the nut straight blockers (Ad) and the nut flush draw blockers (none, but we block some Ax). **Board:** The Qh is a dynamic card that completes straights (AJ, J9). Since we have all the AJ and BB has very little, our range advantage increases significantly, allowing us to pressure their mid-pairs and weak draws. --- > **Takeaway:** On paired boards that favor your preflop range, checking back flop and stabbing turn is a high-EV way to realize equity and pick up the pot.
