Flop Analysis
Checking is the only option. This board heavily favors the 3-better's range, which contains more JJ, KK, and AK than our calling range.
While we have a strong open-ended straight draw, the paired board and range disadvantage make folding turn the correct play against continued aggression.

Calling is standard, but raising is a high-frequency alternative to put pressure on the Button's air and capped hands. **Ranges:** Button has a massive equity advantage (64%) on this texture. They hold all the nutted combos like KK and AK, while we are capped at mostly Kx and Jx. **Board:** The paired Jack texture makes it harder for the Button to have a piece, but when they do, they are very strong. Our OESD provides enough equity to continue. **Sizing:** Facing a 1/3 pot bet, we have excellent pot odds (4.1:1). Raising to ~20BB functions as a semi-bluff that targets their pocket pairs (TT, 99) and Ax air. --- > **Takeaway:** On paired boards in 3-bet pots, use your best draws as check-raise bluffs to balance your nutted Jack-x holdings.
The 2s is a total brick for the main ranges. We check again to let the Button decide how to proceed with their range advantage.
Folding is the correct GTO play. While we have an OESD, our equity has dropped and we are unlikely to realize it fully out of position. **Math:** We need ~20% equity to call, and while we have ~32%, our 'realized' equity is lower because we often face a river shove that forces us off our hand if we miss. **Blockers:** Holding the Ac is actually slightly negative for a call because it blocks the Button's primary bluffs like Ac5c or Ac4c. We want them to have the Ace-high air we are currently beating. **Plan:** If we call and the river is a Ten, we win; however, on any other card, we are stuck in a miserable spot facing a third barrel with just Ace-high. --- > **Takeaway:** Don't chase draws OOP in 3-bet pots when the board is paired and your opponent shows multi-street aggression.
