Flop Analysis
Checking the entire range is the standard play here. As the caller out of position on a paired board, we lack the initiative and must see how the preflop aggressor proceeds.
Defending suited connectors from the BB is standard, but we must fold quickly when the board misses our range and the opponent shows aggression.

Folding is the only viable option. We have zero equity against a value range and no relevant backdoors or draws to justify a float. **Ranges:** The BTN has a massive range advantage on this board, holding all the overpairs (JJ-AA) and better Tx. Our 7-high is at the very bottom of our range and doesn't even block the BTN's primary bluffs like KQ or AJ. **Math:** While we are getting 2.5:1, our raw equity is only ~14%. We are nowhere near the 28% required to continue, and our hand has terrible equity realization potential on most turns. --- > **Takeaway:** Don't feel obligated to defend the bottom of your range on boards that heavily favor the preflop raiser, even against small bets.
