Flop Analysis
Calling the lead is the only viable option. SB's pot-sized donk bet is highly polarizing, often representing a 4, a 7, or a total air/draw combo.
Facing a polarizing shove on a paired board, our pot odds make this middle pair a mandatory call against a range wide with draws.

We must call here despite the overcard. The combination of the paired board and our excellent pot odds means we only need to be right about a quarter of the time. **Ranges:** SB's line is extremely aggressive and includes many semi-bluffs like AsXs, KsQs, and 65s. While they can have Jx or a 4, they also have enough 'air' that took the lead on the flop to justify a call. **Math:** We need roughly 26% equity to break even. Against a range of 4x, Jx, and all spade draws, our 55 maintains enough equity to continue, especially since we unblock the primary flush draws. **Sizing:** The shove creates a very low SPR, essentially removing any further tactical play; this is a pure math problem where we cannot afford to fold a hand with this much raw equity. --- > **Takeaway:** At low SPRs on paired boards, middle pairs function as high-equity bluff-catchers that cannot be folded when facing aggressive draws.
