Folding second pair plus a gutshot for a small bet at this SPR is a clear leak; we should continue and realize our equity, usually by calling. **Ranges:** SB leads into several players on a low, unpaired, rainbow texture with many medium pairs and 6x/8x in range, but also a lot of worse one-pair and random stabs; our hand is comfortably ahead of that merged leading range, especially once the field folds. **Math:** We are getting about 3:1 on a call and need ~25% equity; second pair with a gutshot and set outs has well above that versus any reasonable small-blind donk range. **Plan:** Calling keeps our range wide, allows CO to overcall with dominated draws/pairs, and sets up simple turn decisions at very low SPR — continue on safe runouts, fold only to heavy, polar turn aggression on bad cards. --- > **Takeaway:** With shallow stacks and excellent pot odds, second pair plus a draw is an automatic continue versus small bets, not a fold.
