Flop Analysis
Jamming here is fine: with SPR ≈ 1 and second pair on a very dry, paired board, stacking off is standard even though ranges contain plenty of Ax. **Board:** This texture is extremely static and polarized—limpers either have Ax (crushing us) or a lot of 7x / pocket pairs / random broadways that are in rough shape versus KK and often just fold when facing pressure. **SPR:** At SPR ~1 multiway, premium hands like KK function almost as “preflop all‑ins” — once we iso and get called twice and see this board, we are supposed to commit rather than try to find folds with strong-but-not-nut holdings. **Ranges:** CO/BU limping ranges contain many weak Ax, but also many worse pairs and random high cards; when we shove, Ax always continue but we also get calls from some 7x and mid pairs that we dominate while denying all their equity. --- > **Takeaway:** With a premium hand and SPR around 1, we should generally commit our stack even on ace-high, paired boards, accepting that the times we’re crushed are outweighed by the overall EV.
