Flop Analysis
Calling once versus the flop c-bet is mandatory: we have two overcards, backdoor nut hearts, and excellent pot odds in a shallow 3-bet pot.
With strong overcards and nut backdoor potential in a 3-bet pot, especially facing tiny flop/turn bets, we should continue and realize our equity rather than over-fold.

We should always call this tiny turn bet — with nut flush draw plus overcards and 5:1 odds at a very low SPR, folding would dump far too much equity. **Math:** We’re being laid 5:1, so we only need about 16–17% equity to continue; with two overcards plus the nut heart draw we are far above that against any reasonable range, even if SB is value-heavy. **Ranges:** SB’s small sizing keeps their range wide (Tx, overpairs, 8x/5x, pocket pairs, and some bluffs), while we hold Ah which blocks some of the strongest heart value and gives us maximum equity when hearts or big cards arrive. **SPR:** After calling, SPR is ~0.25 on the river, so any improvement (heart or often A/K) can justify calling off versus a shove; even when we miss we’ve risked very little relative to the pot. --- > **Takeaway:** When facing very small bets in a 3-bet pot with strong draws and overcards, let the price dictate the decision and take the call — our equity and position do the rest.
