Open AKo, 4-bet pre, call flop, mix turn, and just call river—no need to blow it up with a big flop raise.

Flop Analysis

Flop Ks 9d 2c rainbow is a great card for us—top pair, top kicker, no flush possible. BB fires 10BB into 33.5BB and we’re getting about 3.4:1, needing only ~23% equity. With top pair and strong kicker, calling is the standard play; raising to 30BB mostly isolates us against stronger Kx and overpairs and doesn’t really fold out many worse hands.

Note: Raising the flop with top pair/top kicker on a dry K-high board is too ambitious; calling the 10BB c-bet is the higher-EV line.

Turn Analysis

Turn 7h is a brick—no flush or straight draws possible, and our top pair/top kicker is still way ahead of BB’s range. With SPR ~0.55 and no real draws out there, checking back is a solid mix; betting for value is also reasonable but not mandatory. We’re not really behind many hands here, so there’s no need to force action.

River Analysis

River 4d doesn’t change much—still no flush possible, and our top pair/top kicker is still strong. BB now shoves 50BB into 143.5BB, giving us about 2.9:1 and needing ~26% equity. Top pair/top kicker has that easily, so calling off is the right decision. Jamming the flop was the only real leak; the rest of the line is solid.
