With AKo and no spade, we have high card and some backdoor straight potential, but no immediate draw. Solver prefers checking this combo almost always, with only a small amount of medium-sized betting (~65% pot) to pressure some of BB's weaker pairs and gutshots. Checking keeps the pot manageable on a volatile board and lets us see a turn card for free.
