Deep and multiway, top pair/top kicker should mostly call the flop and turn, then call the river shove getting a good price.
Flop Analysis
K92 rainbow is a great flop for us, but BB’s flop donk is a strong, value-heavy stab. With top pair and strong kicker, we mostly call and occasionally raise large; the 24bb raise is too small and gives BB a great price to continue with a wide range.
Note: Flop raise size is too small; prefer calling or using a larger raise size to pressure BB’s range.
Turn Analysis
Turn 7h doesn’t change much—BB’s range is now very value-heavy after calling the flop raise. With SPR under 2, checking back is sensible: we avoid getting raised off our equity and let BB continue with bluffs and weaker value on the river.
River Analysis
River 4d bricks the main draws; facing a 57bb shove into 137.5bb, we’re getting ~2.4:1 and need ~29% equity. AK blocks some natural bluffs (AQ/AJ), so we don’t get as much fold equity as we’d like, but top pair still has enough showdown value to justify calling.
